WHICH TYPE OF VISA IS THE RIGHT ONE IF I WANT TO STUDY IN INDONESIA?

Visa Recommendation that issued by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Directorate General of Immigration, Jakarta (student visa). It will be sent directly to International Office and then send to the student concerned. This visa is recommended for full-time international students of Nusa Putra University. With this visa you can enter Indonesia and apply for ITAS (Limited Stay Permit) once you arrive in Sukabumi, Indonesia. VISA ≠ STAY PERMIT, VISA is different with STAY PERMIT. Visa is applied before you come to Indonesia. While Limited Stay permit is applied at the Immigration Office Sukabumi after your arrival.

WHO IS THE ONE APPLYING FOR THE VISA?

The University (International Relation Office of Nusa Putra University) is the one applying for the visa. The reason is that the University is the sponsor and only the sponsor can apply for the visa according to the immigration rules. The students duty is to provide the University all the documents required.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

• Required Documents for Study Permit

  1. CV (Curriculum Vitae) + Complete Address of Residence in Country Origin and in Indonesia, Active Email, WhatsApp Mobile Number *created on the website
  2. Recent Formal Photo (Formal Attire) Red Background with 4x6 Size (Soft File)
  3. Scanned Passport Bio (Minimum 24 Months before expiration date)
  4. Scanned Certificate of Financing Guarantee (For Nusa Putra University Scholarship international students, will be made by Nusa Putra University)
  5. Scanned Statement Letter signed by international students not to work, not to be involved in unlawful acts, not to participate in political activities, obey the existing laws and regulations in Indonesia and at Nusa Putra University Sukabumi while in Indonesia.
  6. Scanned Medical Check-Up Certificate *in English (maximum 60 days)
  7. Scanned Latest Diploma/Academic Transcript that has been validated by the Embassy All scanned documents must be in color, clearly readable, not cut off, and a maximum file size of 300 kb (jpg and pdf)


• Required Documents for E-Visa Student

  1. CV (Curriculum Vitae) + Complete Address of Residence in Country Origin and in Indonesia, Active Email, WhatsApp Mobile Number
  2. Recent Formal Photo (Formal Attire) Red Background with 4x6 Size (Soft File)
  3. Scanned Passport Bio (Minimum 24 Months before expiration date)
  4. Scanned Passport Cover
  5. Scanned Study Permit Document (For International Students)
  6. Scanned Card/Certificate of receiving complete dose of vaccine (2 times) *in English
  7. Statement letter willing to obey existed health protocols while in Indonesia
  8. Vaccination Certificate minimum 2 doses
  9. All scanned documents must be in color, clearly readable, not cut off, and a maximum file size of 300 kb (jpg and pdf)


• Required Documents for Limited Stay Permit (ITAS)

  1. Letter of Recommendation from Nusa Putra University (Sponsor)
  2. Filling out Forms (Perdim 24, 25, 27)
  3. Passport and its copy (Including Visa stamp)
  4. Study Permit
  5. E-Visa Student print out
  6. Copy of Residential Letter from chief of neighborhood (RT/RW), District (Kelurahan), and Department of Population and Civil Registration


• Required Documents for STM (Police Report)

  1. Letter of Recommendation from Nusa Putra University (sponsor)
  2. Copy of Passport
  3. Copy of ITAS (Limited Stay Permit)
  4. Copy of Study Permit
  5. ID Photo (3x4 Sizes, 2pcs, with RED Background)


• Required Documents for Residential Letter

  1. Letter of Recommendation from Nusa Putra University (sponsor)
  2. Copy of ITAS (Limited Stay Permit)
  3. Copy of Passport
  4. Copy of STM (Police Report Card)
  5. Copy of Residential Letter from chief of neighborhood (RT/RW), District (Kelurahan), and Department of Population and Civil Registration
  6. Filling out a form
  7. ID Photo (3x4 size, 2 pcs, with red background)

E-VISA AND STAY PERMIT(ITAS) FEES

The fees are subject to changes and different depending on the country of the applicant so it is reasonable to not display any fees to avoid confusion. The fees will be communicated by the international Relation office at the time of the application and the student will have to transfer the amount to the International Relation Office by Bank transfer or Western Union or else the account given by the International Relation Office

ARRIVAL INFORMATION

Please notice that after you arrive in Indonesia, you have to report to the immigration office within 30 days to process your stay permit during your stay in Indonesia. So, you have to give to International Relation Office of Nusa Putra University your passport as soon as you get to Sukabumi. It is an obligation for all of international students to get Study Permit and Student Visa (even visit visa in rare cases) under Nusa Putra University sponsorship. If you come to Indonesia without Nusa Putra University sponsor, Nusa Putra University will not be responsible during your study in Indonesia. NB: IRO will provide pick-up services only on

working days (Monday to Saturday) at:

 • 07:00 – 10:30 WIB

 • 13:00 – 15:00 WIB

 • 15:20 – 17:00 WIB

 • 17:45 – 18:20 WIB
